In East Devon District we're committed to supporting, motivating and empowering our young people and volunteers to go further and push the boundaries so we can all have amazing Scouting experiences, make friends and develop #SkillsForLife.

We're registered with Charity Commission for England and Wales, number 301078.

Scout Groups

Axminster, Beer, Colyton, Honiton, Lym Valley, Ottery St Mary, Seaton, Sid Vale, Tipton St John, Whimple

Ten Groups based in the towns and villages across East Devon provide weekly activities, camps and adventures for:

 

Beavers (6yrs-8yrs)

Cubs (8yrs – 10 ½ yrs)

Scouts(10 ½ yrs – 13 yrs)

Explorer Unit

14 yrs - 18 yrs

Made up of Explorer Scout subunits attached to five of our Scout Groups. The subunits meet separately and together for activities & camps, to pursue scouting’s higher awards and our Young Leader Programme.

Network Unit

18 yrs - 25 yrs

People who enjoy being Scouts together, working towards higher awards such as DofE, or the Queens Scout Award, as well as volunteering with young people or behind the scenes in our Groups and Units.

Scout Active Support Unit

(SASU)

A group of volunteers who support our Groups, Units and District. Activities, camps, fundraising – you name it they do it! Flexible volunteering that fits with other commitments.
